James E. Jenkins of Pembroke, MA, and most recently Milford, MA, passed away on September 4, 2025. Born in Boston on June 28, 1945, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Heskett) Jenkins.

Jim graduated from Boston English High School and went on to earn both his associate's and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He proudly served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, where he worked as a radio repairman. Following his service, Jim built a successful career in sales with companies including Unitrode, Bennetron, and Orion, excelling in both inside and outside sales.

A lifelong traveler, Jim delighted in exploring new places, recent trips included Miami, the Outer Banks, Lisbon, London, Paris, Rome, and Athens. His favorite destination, however, was Aruba, where he vacationed annually for nearly 25 years. Known for his craftsmanship, Jim was a skilled carpenter and electrician. In retirement, he was happiest tackling projects around the house, most recently completing a full kitchen renovation.

Jim shared more than 40 years of marriage with his late wife, Ann Grimes-Jenkins, who passed away in 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Jenkins Watson, and her husband, Donald, along with their daughters, Alexandra and Nadine; his son, Gregory Jenkins, and his fiancée, Nuttida Aramthip; his sister, Judith Allen; and many nieces and nephews. He is also lovingly remembered by his partner, Joanne Aprea.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, Hanover, MA. Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Center for Gastrointestinal Oncology, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
