JAMES "JIMMY" JERIC age 75, passed away on July 20, 2024.
James was born in Cleveland, OH to Charles Jeric and Justine Jeric.
He was preceded in death by Charles Jeric (Father), Justine Jeric (Mother), and Chuck Jeric (Brother). He is survived by his brother Ronald (Lynette) Jeric, nephews Cade (Kelly) Jeric, Travis (Merle) Jeric, Brandon Jeric, and nieces Nicolle Jeric, Carly Kurzawa, and Lindsey (John) Ruff.
James graduated from Euclid High School before working at Perkins Restaurant as a dishwasher for over 25 years. He was a devout catholic, an avid Guardians baseball fan, and a lifelong member of AMLA Clairwoods Lodge 40. As a Boy Scout, he was a member of one of the earliest troops formed for those with developmental delays and intellectual disabilities. In his later years James spent many happy days at the Euclid Senior Center where he enjoyed karaoke, spending time with friends, and making holiday cards for each family member.
James’ infectious smile brought light and love to everyone he met.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to either the Euclid Senior Center, Hospice of the Western Reserve, or the Slovene Home for the Aged.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of James at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 10:30-11:30 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 12:30PM at Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E 260th St, Euclid, OH 44132.
A private burial will be held for the immediate family.
