It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James G. Jividen, a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jim leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Jim was a proud father to Daniel (Danielle), Michael (Sherry), Jerilyn (Joseph), Jonathan (Camille), Margaret Jividen, Tim Packman, and Jim Packman. He was also the loving father to the late James Jr. and Cherilyn (Kevin) Cullinan. His cherished role as a grandfather brought immense joy to his life, as he was blessed with grandchildren Jamie, Jacob, Michael, James III, Jackie, Kyle, Grace, Brianna, Teddy, Zach, and Lauren, along with many great-grandchildren who will carry forward his spirit.
We remember Jim not only for his family connections but also for his unwavering work ethic. A proud retiree of the GM Powertrain plant, he dedicated over 40 years of service there, working diligently from a Machine Repairman to Supervisor, exemplifying perseverance and commitment.
Jim was a beloved brother to Joyce Jividen and is now reunited with his late brother Glen Jividen. He leaves behind a loving network of nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will deeply miss his warmth and kindness.
Jim' s favorite place to be was at his hunting camp in Cattaraugus aptly named Jivi's Den where he enjoyed spending time with friends and hunting. He also loved driving a race car at Holland Speedway
