James B. Kluckman

James B. Kluckman, 91, of Easton passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield. He was born on May 29, 1932 in Petersburg to Charles and Emma (Balster) Kluckman. He married Donna Hayes they later divorced. He then married Bertha Gowin on October 13, 1993 in Easton, they both preceded him in death.
James is survived by a son Greg (Mary) Kluckman of Springfield, 2 granddaughters: Jennifer and Jacqueline Kluckman both of Springfield, a step-son Mike Gowin and step-grandson Brett Gowin and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings: Edgar Kluckman, Charlie Kluckman, Ann Temperelli, Marge Castelitti, Paul Kluckman, and Harold Kluckman.
After graduating high school James joined the United States Army. He worked for Mid-Illinois Caliber in Springfield for many years before retiring.
A graveside service will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Central Illinois Food Bank, 1937 E. Cook St. Springfield, IL 62703. Online condolences can be left at www.hurleyfh.com.
