James Kudrna, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on September 29, 1941, in Lakeview, Oregon, James was the son of the late Wilma and Otto Kudrna.
James was a man of many passions and deep-rooted values. A proud and active member of the Lions Club in both California and Oregon, he dedicated much of his life to service and community. He was known for his generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm meal.
He found great joy in the outdoors and spent many cherished days hunting and fishing. His adventurous heart took him traveling far and wide, yet he always found his greatest happiness in the company of his loved ones. James had a talent for jewelry making and a true gift for cooking—his kitchen was a place of laughter, storytelling, and unforgettable meals shared with family and friends.
James is survived by his children: Harry Kudrna, Kevin Brooks, Sanford Fibish, and Toni Sieling. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Ann Burcham and John Kudrna, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Otto, as well as his beloved wives: Jo Dee, Joanne, and Joyce. In addition to his siblings, Bettie Shelby and Joseph Kudrna. James leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well lived. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
