James Lambright Obituary
Mr. Lambright, 76, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Larry loved taking care of his cows and horses. He loved to work, and when his health was still good, he loved to hog hunt. He enjoyed reading his Bible, and most of the time, he would say to you, "Hey, I got a question for you." He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sheril and Opal Lambright; two sisters, Shirley Willis and Patricia Johnson; and two grandchildren, Blake Lambright and Kurt Lambright.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-three years, Patsy Lambright; one son, Sheril Lambright (Tammy); two daughters, Hope Lambright (Jeff), and Kelsey Lambright (Hunter); two sisters, Dianne Thompson (Reed), and Earlene Deters (Clarence); seven grandchildren, Dylan Lambright (Allie), Zack McAlister (Ashley), Shawn McAlister (Chasitie), Morgan McAlister (Jacob), Bella McAlister, McCall McBride, and McCoy McBride; and five great grandchildren, Laiyla Lambright, Lucas Lambright, Corbin McAlister, Sophia McAlister, and Cutter McAlister.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Dylan Lambright, Zack McAlister, Shawn McAlister, Sam Reeves, Travis Johnson, and J.R. Lambright.
In lieu of flowers donations in honor of James can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
