James F. Lee Jr, of Toms River passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Neptune and resided in Belmar before moving to Toms River in 2007. He worked as a construction worker for Bil-Jim in Jackson, NJ. He is known for being a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 166 and Moose Lodge for many years where he loved to play darts and pool. Jimmy loved to watch the Giants and NASCAR, enjoyed hunting, fishing and cruising Ocean Ave in his convertible, but he loved spending time with his family and remembering his "soul dog", Gator. James is predeceased by his parents, James Lee Sr & Anna May Lee and brother, Steven Lee. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Charlotte Kaye Lee; stepchildren, Lisa Fazenbaker & partner Dana Cianciola, Cheryl Scott & husband Wayne Scott, Cristie Smith and Justin Smith & wife Tara Tanico; brothers, Robert Lee, Donald Lee and Randy Lee, sisters, AnnaMarie Granit and Carol Lee & wife Marcie, grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Nicole Orlowsky, Nola Smith and Ivy Smith. Memorial Gathering is Thursday, November 13, 4:00-6:00 PM with a 5:30 PM service at Oliverie, 125 S. Cooks Bridge Rd, Jackson, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a foundation close to his heart, Wounded Warriors Project 370 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10001.
