James W. Lepore, 65, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 27, 2025.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Robert and Daisy Lepore, and he was a graduate of La Salle Academy.
Mr. Lepore was an Auto Body Technician for over 40 years, and more recently had been employed by United Airlines.
Jim was a NASCAR fan, traveling to many races of the East Coast with family, a car enthusiast, frequently attending car shows. He also enjoyed going to the beach, camping with family and friends on Cape Cod and at East Beach in South County, and spending time at Timber Creek RV Resort in Westerly.
He will be remembered for his caring and loving personality, a good sense of humor, and his willingness to help family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted daughter, Kirstie Lepore, his former wife, Kimberly Chipperfield, a sister, Kim Balasco and her husband Robert, nieces, Jenna Balasco, Melissa McKeen and her husband Christopher and their daughter Gianna; and his cat, martin, who never left his side.
Visiting hours will be held at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Tuesday May 6th, from 10:00 am 12:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 12:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02908.
