James Walker "Jim" Lones, Sr, of Farragut, TN passed away May 28,2025, at 8:00 PM at Park West Hospital surrounded by his family.
James was born September 5, 1941, in Knoxville, TN. He served in the US Army for three years and was a Construction Business owner from 1984 until he retired in 2006. He loved his family, was very fond of his pets, enjoyed golfing with his friends, and liked reading western books.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Racheal Ann Stephens Lones; parents, Henry Walker & Nelle Mae Ferguson Lones; sister, Anna Ruth (Sis) Johnson Amick; brother Joe Frank (Bud) Lones; nephew, Joe Lones; grandparents, William Franklin (Wiley), Mary Jane Walker Dobson Lones and James M. & Laura Belle West Ferguson; daughter-in-law, Susan (Susie) Bailey Lones.
And survived by daughter & husband, Stephanie Leann and Mike Green of Knoxville, TN; son, James Walker (Jimmy) Lones, Jr.; precious granddaughter, Bailey Ann Lones of Lenoir City, TN; nephews Jimmy Johnson, Don Johnson; niece, Traci Lones Seffernick.
In lieu of flowers, he has requested that donations be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice that does not use euthanasia or to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Staff and Residence of the Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veteran's Home for their compassionate care and support to Jim.
