Randell Keith Day

Randell Keith Day, 72 of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away in his home on August 16th, 2025. He was born on August 23rd, 1952, in Corbin, Kentucky to Ira and Lois Day.

Randell attended the University of Tennessee, where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in management and human resources. He went on to work in social services and bank human resources.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Lois Day.

Randell is survived by his wife Sandra Day, son Casey Day, daughter-in-law Carmel Day, and brother Russell Day.

He had many interests in his life including painting, writing, reading, and long walks with his constant canine companion, Lily. He loved to explore new places. Some of his favorite trips included Ireland, Italy, San Francisco, New York, and Chicago. Key West was the "go to place" for rest, and he traveled there as often as possible.

Randell was a member of United Church, Chapel on the Hill, and had served as an usher in the past and was serving on the church board as secretary at the time of his death.

Services will be held on August 30th, 2025, at 1:00PM at United Church, Chapel on the Hill. 85 Kentucky Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
