James (Jamie) T. Maxson II, a resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at his home. Mr. Maxson was born on December 6, 1967, to Jim and Darlene Maxson in Miami, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the National Guard from 1987 to 1991. Jamie spent over 20 years as an over-the-road truck driver, traveling approximately 3.2 million miles and seeing 47 of the 48 continental United States, as well as two provinces in Canada.

Jamie enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and riding his Harley. When asked what his favorite thing he ever built was, he always said his family-something he was incredibly proud of.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Becky; son Chris (Becky) Perdue of Columbus, Kansas; daughters Kimberly (Jesse) Novak of Taswell, Indiana, Laci (Tim) Barwick of Seneca, Missouri, and Amanda (Chance) George of Laurel, Indiana; son Dustin (Shayla) Coffey of Quapaw, Oklahoma; and 16 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings: Diana (Dean) North of Commerce, Oklahoma; Tracy (Brian) Haskins of Commerce, Oklahoma; Michele (Scott) Webb of Joplin, Missouri; and Michael (Anne) Maxson of Joplin, Missouri, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Jamie was preceded in death by his son, Denver James Maxson; his parents, Jim Maxson and Darlene Wren; and his stepfather, Kenny Wren.

Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.

A Celebration of Life is being scheduled for June 21.
