James Wade McClelland, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully, April 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. McClelland and Evelyn Tillery McClelland, his siblings Alvin McClelland, Juanita Wright, Carl McClelland Sr., Geneva Ramos, John McClelland, and Lois McClelland, and his beloved daughter, Barbara Ann McEntyre.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors. Private interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
Wade leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Etoile Boatner McClelland; his sister Patsy Goodroe, his brother, David McClelland; his daughter, Deidra McClelland, son Jefferey McClelland, Sr., and his 1972 Chevrolet C10 pick-up truck; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Allisha (Barrett) Parr, Matt (Samantha) McEntyre, Josh (Kylie) McEntyre, Jessica (Chad) Raper, Shannon McEntyre, Kelsey (Kyle) Palmer, Mike Robison, Jefferey McClelland Jr., and Tabitha McClelland. Wade was also blessed with many great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren who brought him much joy, including Britin Bouslog (Brent), Banks Bouslog, Keaton Cowan, Cheyenne Parr, Tracker Parr, Daniel Haman, Kase Haman, June Haman, Ella Haman, Kailtynn Raper, Alexa Raper, Gavin Raper, Aiden McEntyre, Breein McEntyre, Jolene McEntyre, Chasity McEntyre, Emma Smith, Alissa Rowsey (Shaun), Kincade Rowsey, and Matthew McEntyre Jr., Logan Metz, and Lauren McEntyre.
Wade was a man of great strength, love, and devotion to his family and his truck. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Wade’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were touched by his kindness and love.
