James McClung Obituary

A native of Leivasy, West Virginia, son of the late Thomas S. and Dena McClung, he was a retired carpenter and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Rosa McClung Dunagin (Mac Jenkins) of Taylors, Jessica McClung (Mark Stanczyk) of Chapin, and Josephine Vance of Greenville; a sister, Vivian Mintreas of Moundsville, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Brittany Sandifer (Cory), Stone Daniels, and Sara Dunagin; and three great-grandchildren, C.J. Sandifer, Clayton Sandifer, and Link Daniels.
Mr. McClung was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Waddell McClung and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Burnsview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held 12:00-12:45 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the church.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Greer Community Ministries, P.O. Box 1373, Greer, South Carolina 29652.
