James A. McCullough passed away peacefully after a long and brave battle against Parkinson's Disease on May 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. James, 82 years old, was the loving husband of Pamela (nee Nicoletti). They loved each other deeply during their more than 50 years of marriage. Loving father of David McCullough (Meghan) and Megan Creegan (James). Proud grandfather of Kathryn McCullough, Jack Creegan, Courtney McCullough, Cole Creegan, Colin McCullough, Hugh Creegan and Luke Creegan. His grandchildren were his whole world and he loved them dearly. James was such an adoring grandfather - being an active part of his grandchildren's lives and watching them grow brought him endless joy.
James graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he entered the military and was honored and so very proud to serve in the United States Air Force and was in the New Jersey Air National Guard, serving his country during the Vietnam War Era. He was a Communications Plans Officer and retired as Major in 1986.
James spent his entire professional career with AT&T, in a variety of management roles, including working with the FAA in Washington, DC.
He loved the Lord and was an active and faithful member of the Baptist Church. He was also very involved with Chapter 38 of the American Legion in Haddonfield, NJ.
James was passionate about music, history, aviation and mathematics and loved to discuss and share these interests.
He will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, June 6th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Wiley Church, 101 E. Main St., Marlton, NJ. Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James's name to the Wounded Warrior Project. https://communityfundraising.woundedwarriorproject.org/campaign/James-A--McCullough-Memorial

Pam,
I am so glad to have been friends with Jim. He was such a wonderful kind man, husband and father. His vast knowledge was exceptional. The stories he shared of his younger years were a testament to the loyal patriot he was. His love for music was unmatched. Here again his knowledge was incredible. I have learned so much from Jim. He has made me a better person. Rest in peace my friend.

Jim,
Our friendship we had I will always cherish with such fond and fun memories. I always loved listening to music with you and learning lots of information from you to just your morning greetings to me and just being funny and talking. One of my favorite memories is talking with British accent while playing bingo together,it was never a dull moment! You made such an impact on me and are missed! My thoughts and prayers are with your amazing wife and family
Love,
Jackie
