James "Nicholas" McKinney

James “Nicholas” McKinney of Acworth, a beloved son, brother and friend passed awayDecember 1st, 2024. Nick was born on October 24th, 1985, in Columbus, Ohio. He was agraduate of Harrison High School. His life was marked by his love for family and friends.His other passions included listening to music and playing video games. Nick’s sense ofhumor followed the likes of Jeff Dunham and the Blue-Collar Guys. His one-liners would make you laugh so hard that your stomach would hurt. His barrel laugh would light up the room. Nick is remembered as a kind and gentle young man who never judged anyone. His love of animals was very prevalent during his time with us.Nick is survived by his parents, Jim and Corrina McKinney, brother Josh and manyaunts, uncles and cousins across the United States. His memory will live forever in ourhearts of all who knew and loved him.In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Center for Disabilities or Cobb Countyanimal shelter. Services and a celebration of life will be announced after the holidays.
