James Mikucki Obituary

Jimmy met the love of his life, Carolyn, in the tenth grade at New Milford High School. They shared nearly 55 wonderful years of marriage. A proud veteran he served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Jimmy was a true handyman, and he could fix just about anything. He spent his career at AT&T and Lucent before retiring. He had a passion for classic cars, a deep love for animals, and found peace watching the koi fish in his pond or sailing around the Poconos with Carolyn. He will be remembered for his kind heart, steady hands, and soft-spoken nature.
Predeceased by his parents Helen and Edward Mikucki and his cherished German Shepherd Star and feline friend, Tramp.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn M. Mikucki. He will be missed by his close friends and neighbors.
All are welcome at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, NJ on Friday, April 11th for a visitation from 3-5PM. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 12th at 9:30AM. Entombment following to Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in his memory to the Bergen County Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608.
