James Michael Most

MOST, James Michael – of Davison, MI, age 72, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025. Cremation has taken place. The family will welcome visitors 4-7 PM Friday, December 19, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Jim's memory.
Jim was born in Flint, MI on October 3, 1953, son of the late James Edwin Most and Carol Jean (Fowler) Clark. On September 28, 1974, Jim married the love of his life, Luanne Turner, in Davison, MI. Their marriage was marked by devotion, partnership, and countless memories built together over the years. Jim dedicated 32 years of service to Flint Road Builders, retiring in 2003 after a distinguished career as a foreman. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of his colleagues through his leadership, reliability, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Jim embraced life's pleasures wholeheartedly. He was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He enjoyed taking walks, visiting the casino, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Jim treasured the camaraderie of his "Breakfast Club" friends, where laughter and conversation were always on the menu. Wednesdays were especially dear to him, as he loved gathering at Madden's Lounge to enjoy Nancy's cooking and the warmth of familiar faces. Jim will be remembered for his friendly nature, his love of community, and his appreciation for life's everyday moments. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, friendship, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Luanne Most; 2 children, Sarah (Randall) Suttle and Jody (Dennis) Beamer; 6 grandchildren, Rebekah, Drake (Shevie), Ella, Eden, Hunter (Amanda "Panda") and Jackie; 3 siblings, Cathy Rasmussen, Craig (Debi) Most and Carol (Dan) Riegle; brother-in-law, Gary Turner; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edwin Most and Carol Jean (Bud) Clark; parents-in-law, Ralph "Tank" and Phyllis Turner.
