Funeral Time: Tuesday, June 6th at 12:30PM
James Alvin Nash, 80, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. Born in Chattanooga, TN, he was the son of the late Melvin and Lula V. Nash. He served with the US Navy and worked on Lexington horse farm throughout his life. James is survived by his children, Tammera (Steve) Nash-Meadows, Jon (Toni) Nash, Chris Nash, Michael Nash; his stepson, Ron Nash; grandchildren, Paige Grimes, Emma (Jacob) Branin, Tessa Nash, Reagen Nash, Jasmine Fish, Daniel Williams, Heather Monahan, Brittany Monahan, and Dalton Meadows; many great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Jean, Betty, and Patricia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Nash, and his grandson Hayden. A funeral service will be held 12:30pm Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home- Main St. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30am-12:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or his family.
