James Walter Oldham, 69, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. Mr. Oldham was born April 11, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William Oldham and Dorothy (Jameson) Oldham. James married the love of his life, Angela Dee Oldham in 1993. The two spent 32 years filled with love and good times. He was a loving husband, and great dad, but his most favorite title came recently, Poppy. He loved taking his cart out to the golf course and shooting the bull with the guys. An outdoorsman, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Much will be missed about him, his amazing cooking, his insane knowledge (actually a human calculator/photographic memory), great advice, and his joy for life. He had a smile and laugh that would stop you in your tracks. If you knew him, you knew he was quite the jokester. He loved to pick on the people he loved the most. James will be missed and loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Jameson) Oldham; his father, William Oldham; two sisters, Billie Marie Douglas, and Cindy Michler.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Dee Oldham of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Tori Claire Heinrichs, and husband, Josh of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Maeve James Heinrichs of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Greg Staat, and wife, Susan of St. Louis, Missouri; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home. A memorial graveside service will be scheduled for a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
