Working with James was always a pleasure because he knew his job inside out and backward and always did it to perfection. He was certainly a rare individual!

James will be sadly missed by all his family both by blood and friendship.
I´m blessed to have worked with James for many years until my retirement. He always had my back when I had to break up a disagreement and he taught me to drive a fork lift. He came to my office door one day when I was still at work at 5 and handed me his baby son and says
I gotta go to the bathroom and 5 mins later I had fallen in love with the little one and his big brown eyes.
I ran into James one day in price chopper in Troy and he picked me up off my feet and gave me one of his famous "James" hugs. I´m sure many of you have had a James hug.
James was a talented hard worker liked by all. I was blessed to have known him.

James and I met thru Billy Carter. I found him to be a true gentleman. He offered help to one of my oldest friend. He noticed she needed help and he helped her, never met her before. That was the character if James. Later on we realized we knew some of the same people. SIP.

I was saddened to hear of James passing. I work for DOH, James was always smiling and looking after others, a quality you do not often find. He is missed by many. Lifting your family up in prayer.
