James Casey Powers, 66, of Williamsburg, Va. passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2024. He was born to the late John and Antonia Powers in New York on March 5, 1958.
James was a loving and caring man who loved to spend time with family, friends, and his dog, Stella. He was an avid baseball fan, always cheering on the New York Mets. He very much enjoyed listening to The Beatles.
James served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He traveled the world and fought for his country during the Gulf War. After retiring from his military service, James worked for Geico as an Auto Damage Adjuster for 22 years. He excelled in his work and was often awarded for his contribution to Geico. He will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Powers; children, Jennifer Powers, Casey Powers, and William "Billy" Powers; grandchildren, Leo Olbes and Kayla Emory; brother, John Powers, Jr.; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:oo PM, on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg, 4124 Ironbound Rd. Williamsburg, Va.
