James Rice Obituary
James was born in Pitt County where he grew up. His parents were the late Austin and Dora Rice.
James will be interred in Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville, NC alongside his father, mother, and brother.
James was born in Pitt County and attended Pitt County Schools. James was a lifelong resident of Ayden, NC. James walked the streets of Ayden, spent much of his time in downtown at Bum's and the City Barbershop and knew everyone. He made many memories with friends at Bum's and the City Barbershop as well as those who helped him.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Dora Rice and brother, Donald Rice.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Bradshaw of Washington; niece Melissa Nichols of Washington; and a great nephew, Brandon Speight of Vanceboro.
James was special to everyone he met. He always had a big smile on his face. He will be missed by many.
