James H. Richard, affectionately known to all as J.H, departed this world on April 5, 2025, leaving behind an incredible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Born on August 19, 1945, in Jacksonville, Texas, J.H's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a comforting presence that will forever be cherished.
A devoted family man, J.H dedicated his life to caring for those he held dear. His warm-hearted nature drew people to him, and he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. He approached life with a delightful sense of humor, sharing laughter and joy that echoed in the hearts of his family and friends. His spirit shone brightest when he was surrounded by his beloved grandkids, as he immersed himself in their love.
J.H served his country proudly in the Airforce, a chapter of his life that instilled in him values of discipline and camaraderie, which he carried with pride into his civilian life. His service shaped him into a man of honor and respect, and those values resonated throughout his years, affecting everyone around him positively.
Though J.H found solace in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family, he was never one to shy away from sharing laughter over stories of times shared or new adventures yet to come. The warmth of his loving personality will forever glow in the memories of those who were lucky enough to share in his presence filled with conversation, affection, and, of course, spirited laughter.
As we gather to honor his life, let us remember the joy he brought to our hearts. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on April 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. The following day, we will come together again for a funeral service that will commence at 1:00 PM, after they will lay him to rest at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park and say farewell to a truly wonderful man.
James H. Richard, gone from our sight but never from our hearts, leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be etched in the fabric of our lives, shining bright like the star he was.
