James Reuben Richardson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Reuben Richardson, who departed this life peacefully on November 22, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 12, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia, James was a devoted brother and a proud American, having served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
James graduated from Russell High School in East Point, Georgia, and exemplified the spirit of hard work and dedication throughout his life. He spent 25 years as a maintenance supervisor at the Hampton Inn, where his commitment to excellence was mirrored in the pride he took in his work.
He is survived by his cherished siblings, sister Joy Warren and brother Ronald Richardson, both of whom will carry his memory forward with love.
James was preceded in death by his father, Reuben Knight Richardson, and his mother, Polly Joy Bragg Hartness.
In keeping with his wishes, James will be cremated, and there are no services planned at this time.
