Kathy Jo Lepard

Kathy Jo Lepard, beloved mother, grandmother, and dedicated public servant, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on July 19, 1958, in Carrollton, Georgia, Kathy spent her life in the embrace of family and community.
Kathy proudly served as a Corrections Officer at Hays Correctional Facility, where her unwavering commitment to her role and compassion for others made a lasting impact on those around her. Following her retirement, she dedicated her time to what she cherished most: her family.
A passionate cook, Kathy loved preparing meals for her loved ones, filling the home with warmth and comfort. Her greatest joy came from her 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, whose laughter and love filled her heart with pride and happiness.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Gina East; son, Robbie Lepard; and sister-in-law, Felicia Henderson. Her spirit will continue to live on in her grandchildren through the memories she created and the love she shared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford and Hazel Henderson; her loving husband, Tom Lepard; and her brother, Jeff Henderson.
In keeping with Kathy's wishes, there will be no services held, and her body will be cremated. As her loved ones gather to celebrate her life in the future, they will remember her warmth, her kindness, and the indelible mark she left on their hearts.
Kathy Jo Lepard will be profoundly missed but will always be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought into the lives of many.
