Mary Addie Bryan

Mary Addie Bryan, a cherished member of the Carrollton community, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on January 18, 1932, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Mary lived a life dedicated to family, faith, and service.
Mary's journey would take her to Carrollton, GA, where she made lasting memories with her loved ones and formed deep connections within her community. A devoted member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church for nearly 70 years, she was known for her warm spirit. She was also an integral member of the Circle of Friends, where she found both camaraderie and purpose.
For 43 years, Mary faithfully served at Tanner Medical Center, spending her first 33 years as a dedicated X-Ray Technician before transitioning to the Tanner Women's Center, where she spent her final 10 years specializing in mammography and caring for patients with warmth and compassion. She retired in 1994, but her devotion to those she served and her gentle presence continued to inspire all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Jolly; her mother, Mattie Adams Jolly; her husband, Hoyt Bryan; and her son, Andy Bryan.
Mary is survived by her beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny & Bretha Bryan and Jimmy & Darlene Bryan, along with her cherished grandchildren: Matt Bryan, John Bryan, Amy Bryan, Leigh Anne Bearden, David Bryan, and Ashley Bryan. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, nine nieces, and nine nephews. Her unconditional love and guidance will forever resonate in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on November 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with Minister Neil Weathington officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In honoring her memory, the Circle of Friends will serve as honorary pallbearers, celebrating a life that touched so many.
