James (Jim) Everett Rollock
Date Of Birth: 08/02/1954
Date of Death: 01/16/2025
James (Jim) Everett Rollock, 70, of Warren, OR passed away under the loving and watchful care of his family on January 16th, 2025 at his home in Warren, Oregon.
Jim was born on August 2nd, 1954, in Quincy, MA to his parents, Clinton Arthur Rollock and Margaret Jane (Crosby) Rollock. He was the third-born of five siblings.
His appreciation for nature prompted him to study forestry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 1980, Jim's love for adventure and nature led him to pack up his van and drive across the country to Oregon where he worked for NW Natural Gas. Shortly after arriving in Oregon, he met Laura Juden and they married in July of 1983.
Together, Jim and Laura had and raised five children. A dedicated father, Jim often took his children to the beach, camping, soccer games, the public library, and to church. Serving God through his church was important for Jim. A member of Bethany Baptist for over 30 years, he was very active in the Awana program while his children were school-aged. He later focused on the Men's Ministries and helped with Saturday morning men's breakfasts and men's beach retreats. Jim faithfully set up for communion once a month and helped with ushering as well.
After a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons, Jim's health began to decline. In 2022, Laura and Jim sold the home where they had raised their children, and moved to Warren, Oregon to a one-level home closer to their daughters, Christina and Jackie. The move also led Jim to a new church home, Warren Baptist Church. Jim loved being close to his granddaughter, Amelia, who was excited to attend church with grandpa and her mom, Jackie.
Although Jim lost his battle with Lewy body Dementia on January 16th, he woke-up in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, to life eternal. He no longer endures the pain and suffering of his earthly life.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Margert Rollock, brother David Rollock, brothers-in-law David Juden and Thomas Juden, and father-in-law Richard Juden.
He is survived by his spouse Laura Rollock and his children, Elizabeth Rollock and her fiancé Spencer Wilson, Benjamin Rollock, Jackie (Rollock) Zieglar and her spouse Steven Zieglar, Clinton Rollock and his spouse Rebecca (Streit) Rollock, and Christina Rollock; four grandchildren, Amelia Zieglar, Noa, Liora, and Joana; siblings Gary Rollock and Susan Rollock, Jackie (Rollock) Durette, William Rollock and his spouse Anne Marie Rollock; Mother-in-law Barb (Peters) Juden as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on February 8th, 2025 at 1pm at Warren Baptist Church in Warren, OR.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Warren Baptist Church for their memorial service funds.

I met Jim thru my husband John Merritt and we kept in touch until John passed away in 2006. I remember how excited he was to do anything with the kids and the wonderful home they created away from the city. He became a good friend and always had a good word or scripturew to share. Remember those great times and wonderful memories. I am so sorry for your loss, Cora Merritt

Jim was such a blessing to our family. Norman met Jim in Seaside, OR. Norm was working on our family beach cottage and noticed Jim "sniffing " for gas leaks. One thing led to another and next thing we know, Jim is helping us restore/complete the family cottage. Jim was so kind and giving. He will be greatly missed. Blessings that he is now with our Heavenly father.
