James "Jamie" Rorie, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Creve Coeur, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 25, 1972, in Orlando, Florida, Jamie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and countless unforgettable memories.

Jamie was a dedicated and loving husband to his beloved wife, Theresa Rorie. Together, they created a beautiful family, raising their children Lacey Rorie, Johnathan Rorie, Joshua Kipper, and Nicole Kipper in an environment filled with joy and warmth. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and actively participated in family outings that forged invaluable bonds. Jamie's genuine love for his family was evident in every interaction, and he consistently sought peace and happiness for those around him.

With a vibrant personality, Jamie's sense of humor was both unconventional and endearing, perfectly complementing Theresa's spirit. Friends and family will fondly remember him as a joker, a caring soul with a strong heart. He was loyal, compassionate, and always looked out for others. Everyone who knew Jamie found solace in his kind nature and cherished the meaningful conversations they shared. It’s easy to imagine how he would have thrived in a counseling role, providing guidance and support to those in need.

Jamie had a vast array of interests that defined much of his time. A passionate cook, he found joy in preparing meals and sharing them with his loved ones. His enthusiasm for the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR provided countless opportunities for camaraderie with family and friends as they gathered to cheer for their favorite teams. Whether working outdoors or spending time with his dogs and cats, Jamie's love for the outdoors was undeniable. His fond tales of their antics often brought laughter and light to family conversations.

He was very family-oriented, with deep connections to both his immediate and extended family. He deeply treasured his parents, Adolph and Pamela Rorie, and shared close ties with his sisters, Daniehl (Mark) Conyer and Erin (Nicholas) DeWitt. His pride extended to his niece, Aurora (Christian) Bowler, and his nephews, Bryce Conyer, Logan Conyer, Gavin Conyer, Liam DeWitt, and Gabriel DeWitt, who revered him as a loving uncle.

Jamie was proud of his marriage, having celebrated eight wonderful years with Theresa, and he cherished the role he played as a father to his children. His last job as a mobile service tech for heavy machinery was a source of joy for him, as he formed bonds with the clients he served and took great pride in his work.

Though Jamie's time with us was cut short, the legacy of love and laughter he leaves behind will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Elaine Ruhl, and Virgil and Gladys Rorie, along with his brother, Nicholas Rorie.

In honor of Jamie's life, family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on September 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West County in Chesterfield, Missouri. The funeral service will take place on September 16, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by a graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery & Mausoleum at 12:00 PM.

As we bid farewell to Jamie, we carry with us the memories that will forever brighten our lives and the lessons he taught us about love, humor, and the importance of family. He will be missed but never forgotten.
