James "Jay" Rose
Passed away on March 13th at the age of 85. Jay was born April 11, 1940 in Monterey Park, CA. He attended Fallbrook High School, San Marcos Junior College, and UC Davis Veterinary School where he met his wife, Ethel, who was also attending Veterinary School there. They established, owned and operated the San Luis Rey Equine Clinic in Bonsall, CA. for 30 years. They sold the practice in 1995 and moved to Taos. In retirement, Jay was able to pursue his passion for motorcycles and they were able to enjoy numerous
Motorcycle trips to Mexico, Europe, Morocco, South Africa, Namibia,and Canada. Jay was a thoughtful, caring and loving person who will be greatly missed by Ethel and his many friends.
