James Rowley Obituary

He retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 198, where he worked as a pipefitter in several chemical plants. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana, Trinity Union No. 372, and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Denham Springs, La. He was a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw. He loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren (as he would say, "my babies").
He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 53 years, Deboral Crain Rowley; two sons, Joshua Rowley and Christina, Prairieville, LA, and Matthew Rowley, Watson, LA; the joy of his life, his two grandchildren, Emilia Kate Rowley and Liam Andrew Rowley; his brother, Roy Rowley and Denise, BlackLick, PA; as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews, and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his parents, John George Rowley, Sr and Sofia Bohovich Rowley; brother, John George Rowley, Jr; and his sister, Grace Elizabeth Rowley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Southside Baptist Church, 7572 Vincent Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM, conducted by Rev. John Adams. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Pine First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine, LA.
Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua James Rowley and Matthew Stephens Rowley.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of James Rowley can be made to Southside Baptist Church, 7572 Vincent Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70726

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Audubon Hospice for the compassionate care given to James during his final days.
