Jim was a proud graduate of Warsaw High School, Class of 1955, and furthered his education at Purdue University. Jim found joy in a variety of pastimes, including fishing and spending winters in Alabama, where he enjoyed the warmth and camaraderie of friends and family. He was also an avid watcher of Hallmark movies and enjoyed engaging in Bingo at the senior center, where he formed lasting friendships.

Jim leaves behind his beloved sons, Randy Sarber of Plymouth and Roger (Marie) Sarber of Claypool, alongside five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, and his sister, Sara Bridger, who all held a special place in his heart.

Jim will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, generous heart, and the love he extended to everyone around him. His legacy will continue through his family and the many lives he touched throughout his remarkable journey.
