It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of James Spealman, 66, on Friday, September 19, 2025. Born July 30, 1959, the son of the late Ronald Spealman and the late Helen and George Zumbrun.
He is survived by his sons, Dane Spealman of Sparks MD, Justin Spealman and wife, Gen of Pikesville, MD Grandchildren, Kaleb Spealman, Skye Spealman, Mason Spealman and Emma Bevenhour.
Devoted brother to Tracie Green and husband, Kenny of Sykesville, MD and Mary Mattison of Union Bridge, MD, Ronnie Spealman and wife, Teresa of Dundalk, MD, George Zumbrun of Vienna, MD, Mark Zumbrun and wife, April of Jacksonville, FL. He adored his many nieces and nephews and their children.
He was predeceased by brothers, Michael Spealman, Jay Zumbrun and brother-in-law, Raymond Mattison.
Jim was a 1977 graduate of Randallstown Senior High School. A member of Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church.
He had worked many years at Hanover Honda in PA and more recently at Jim Coleman Honda before he retired. A true used car salesman.
Most of his time was spent with his family. Getting together for Sunday lunches and weekly poker. He loved beach vacations with his nieces, nephews and sisters and golfing with his brother-in-law. He was known for always joking around and having fun. Telling stories about his family and his younger days were repeated over and over again to everyone he talked to. He will be so missed by so many.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12 Noon to 2 PM with a Celebration of Life Services at 2 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).
