James F. Sullivan of Waukesha passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born in Fond du Lac, WI on July 23, 1936, the son of Alexander and Bernice Sullivan. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Berlin Conflict. He loved music and dancing and taught folk dancing for many years. Jim was very intelligent, a wealth of knowledge and was multilingual. Most of all he was a devoted spouse to his wife Janet.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Janet of Waukesha and his nine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunt Irene.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral Mass begins at 12:00 noon at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. Private burial will be on Thursday at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
