James Sweezey Obituary
Jim served honorable in the United States Navy aboard the USS Dahlgren, DL12 during the Cuban Missile Crisis and a Mediterranean Tour including 1965. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Jim's love for the sea made him a natural ocean sailor. Throughout his life, he was able to live in several different states. After his military service, Jim became a skilled Class A Machinist.
Most of all, he will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. Jim leaves behind wife, Marcia R. Sweezey; son, James M. Sweezey; grandson, James M. Sweezey III; Erica Miles, Jace Nolan; the Bresnahan family from MA; the Sweezey family from NY; and numerous friends across the USA and UK.
Services will be held privately.
