TEDDER. JAMES A. of Waterford; August 24, 2025; age 64; Loving husband of Denise Tedder; Loving father of Megan (Michael) VanLeuven and Samantha (Matthew) Sambrook; Beloved grandfather of Allie, Oakley, Logan and Austin; Preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Bettie Tedder and sister Cynthia Buero. Also survived by his brother in law Henry Buero, mother in law Charlotte Sears, and sisters in law Kim Kelley and Sherri (Glen) Pankey, and many nephews and nieces. Jim was a graduate of Waterford Kettering and worked as an electrical contractor for Detroit Edison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
