Mary F. Cascarelli

CASCARELLI, MARY FRANCES of Waterford; October 14, 2025; age 70; Loving wife of the late Dave Cascarelli; Cherished mother of Dominic Cascarelli (Andy) and Andrew Cascarelli; Beloved sister of Rose DeAnda (Kurt Vogler), Anna Calabrese (Richard Parker), Sylvia Hitchcock (Dave), Felicia Calabrese (Mary Groth) and Lori Hunt (Todd); Dear daughter of the late Sam and Carmelina Calabrese. Also survived by her loving niece and many nephews. Mrs. Cascarelli attended Saint Benedict Catholic Church. She was a kindergarten teacher in the Lapeer School District and at Lapeer West. She taught catechism at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lapeer. Mary graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 1974 and earned her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 80 Lynn Street, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Committal Calvary Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
