James Edward Tudor

James Edward (Lil' Jimmy) Tudor, a long-time resident of Howell, passed away suddenly on November 13, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Laura Tudor, their children, Dylan and Trevor, and special sister in Christ, Theresa Burrill.
A mechanic at heart, he started his professional career with four years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy, on the USS Manitowoc (LST – 1180) from 1982 through 1986, participating in Operation Urgent Fury (Grenada), and the Beirut Multinational Peacekeeping Force (1982). From there he advanced to be a highly respected lead mechanic at Cummins Diesel.
His mechanical abilities led him to seek out activities for which he could use his skill, such as motorcycling and remote control boat building. He was a lifetime member of the Iron Mustangs (Detroit M/C) It was said of Jim that if it had moving parts, he could not only fix it, he would make it better.
Although preceded in death by his son, Connor William Tudor, and his father, James Tudor, he is survived by many members of his family, including: his mother, Maxine Tudor; siblings, Deborah (Tom Flynn) Tudor and Thomas (Dina) Tudor; father and mother-in-law, Barry and Barbara Kenshol; sister-in-law, Sherri (Mike) Clermont; brother-in-law, Michael Kenshol; nieces and nephews, Candice (Aaron Kinzel) Tudor and Thomas Tudor III; Joelle, Mitchell, Nicole, and Jacob Clermont; great niece, Lily Kinzel.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, MI 48116 on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 2 - 8pm.
Funeral Service at Bible Baptist Church at Pine Summit, 3900 Golf Club Rd., Howell, MI 48843, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11am with gathering beginning at 10am. The service will be live streamed.
His remains will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. The graveside service will be private.
