Papa Jim is what he told me to call him the very first day I met him! I was brought in to help take care of his needs prior to him being admitted to Walter Reed. Papa Jim was an amazing man. He cared so much about everyone in his life. We would sit and talk for hours a day and he'd share his stories of life with me. He shared the poetry he wrote years ago, old photos, and his coin and bill collection. I know he's where he wants to be. I will always remember the prayer I read to him every single morning. The Prayer of St Brigid was his absolute favorite. May you rest easy Papa Jim we all love and miss you so much.
