James Wafford, 58, of Big Sandy, took his last breath Monday afternoon, May 5, at 1:30 p.m., surrounded by family and friends, at peace. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of his cremation.
Mr. Wafford was born April 13, 1967.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Wafford, his mother, Jo Ellen Yoder, a sister, Mary Jo Wonderling, his three daughters, Hannah Wafford, Elizabeth Hooper, and Cheyenne Dismore, and two grandsons, Jayce and Maddox Wafford.
James was a husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and a preacher. He spread the word where he could and tried to reach as many people as he was able. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him, and his loss will be felt by many. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
