James Alan Walker, 67, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on June 10, 2024, in Marietta. Jim was known for his loving and dedicated nature, as well as his strong work ethic. He spent 10 years at the Norfolk Southern Railroad and over 30 years at Barnes Quality Signs / Uni-Structures. Outside of work, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and had a passion for dirt bike racing in his younger years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Walker; his children, Kyle Walker and Jessica Walker; his sister, Donna King; his brother, Glen Walker; and 6 grandchildren Kyle Jr, Kameryn, Kaylin, Sarah ,Kayla , and Richie. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Don Walker, and his mother, Joyce Walker.
A memorial service will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. The viewing will take place from 12-2pm, followed by the service.
