James A. Watson died April 12, 2024. He was born January 21, 1966. He was a true native of Wyoming, born and raised.
James was a master of anything he put his mind to. In his 58 years on this earth he trained horses, was a farrier and managed ranches. He could operate all types of large equipment. He had a passion for welding and traveled the U.S. doing this trade. James never met a stranger and helped many people in many areas of this great nation.
He had a rich, full life that included pheasant hunting with his trusty poodle, Bimbo, boating and fishing. He fished rivers, streams, ponds and oceans, fishing with his boys and niece Chais. Crawdad hunting was a must in the summer, being the boys' and Chais' favorite pastime, which became all the nieces' and nephews' favorite pastime.
James and Phoebe have three sons, T. Wyatt (Louren), Jacob A. (Aleea) and Z. Bo-James; and seven grandchildren, Brenna, Rowdy, Paislee, Ember, Haydyn, Riverlyn and Silfreya.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Dick" T. Watson III.
James is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Watson, sister Cindy (Rich) Avery, brothers T.R. (Gina) and Shane (Andrea) Watson and many loving nieces and nephews.
James requested to be cremated. A small gathering will be held for immediate family and friends this summer.
