James Edward Weirick, 60, of Mansfield, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his residence.
Jim was born December 31, 1962 in Wooster, Ohio to Nelson and Lorraine Joyce {Ferreira} Weirick.
He had a bachelors degree from the University of Akron in Electronic Technology. Jim served in the Army National Guard.
Jim worked for several electronics businesses; he owned his own business as an electric car battery repair technician and enjoyed teaching. He enjoyed working with and building his own hyperbaric chamber.
Jim will be deeply missed by his brother Lance (Cindy) Weirick of IN; sister Raylene (Mike) Hlavaty of Jeromesville; several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Tim and Jerome Tavares.
Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
