WILLIAMS, James "Jim" W.

James "Jim" Walter Williams of Pewaukee and West Allis, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 72. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 17, 1952, he was the second child of Elizabeth "Penny" (nee Pabst) Williams and Walter "Wally" Williams, joining his sister Carole. He would later become big brother to sister Nancy.

Jim was a 1971 graduate of Pewaukee High School and was valedictorian of his class. He continued his education at Carroll College and completed the MICAP Program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee – School of Business Administration in 1998 while working for M & I Data Services. He also earned his bachelor's degree from Cardinal Stritch University. Jim retired from Metavante as a Senior Conversion Analyst.

Jim loved baseball, especially the Milwaukee Brewers. After retirement, it became a passion to learn the life story of early Wisconsin baseball players. He would spend his time traveling the state to often remote cemeteries to tenderly care for their long-forgotten graves. He was hoping to compile this history into a book someday.

Loving son of Penny, dear brother of Carole (John) Brinkman and Nancy (Roland) Ryan. Uncle to Tom Brinkman and Connor Ryan. Special grandpa to Trystan (T) Stebbins, Chris, Kadin and Kai Wilson and a special friend Kathy Shields. Further survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Jim will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm; Service at 3:00 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin. Burial will take place on Monday, December 8 at 1:00 pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, Pewaukee.
