Our deepest sympathies to Alice and the family. We were sorry to hear about Jim. We had some wonderful times when we lived on 5th Avenue.
Again, our sympathies.

Joan and I were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Jim and Alice were neighbors of our for 27 years in the Pinery in Parker, Co. They were always kind to us and our children who grew up while we were neighbors. We would always stop and talk in passing and Jim was so kind to Joan when she was going through her chemo several years ago, even bringing her fresh baked cookies to cheer her up. Jim surprised me several years ago with a discussion of what he did during WW2 and his duty in Japan after the war in the war crimes trials. He was a wonderful and honorable man and husband. We will sorely miss him.
