James Ernest Zerega

James Ernest Zerega, 83, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at United Hospital Center. He was born in Washington D.C. on September 3, 1941, a son of the late Domenic and Maria Rosa Zerega. After graduating high school, Jim went on to serve his country in the United States Army, while obtaining his masters degree. He later worked at NASA as a Project Analyst where he retired. Jim loved to be outdoors and enjoyed guns. He was a Roman Catholic by faith. Jim will be remembered for the love that he showed to his family.Left to Cherish his memory is his wife, Suzanne Zerega of Fairmont, West Virginia, and two sons, Marc Zerega of Fairmont, West Virginia and Anthony Zerega and his wife Christi of Charleston, South Carolina. Jim is also survived by one sister, Angelina Meyer and five grandchildren, Domenic, Lucki, Charlie, Olivia, and Luca. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Domenic Zerega and one sister, Aurelia Clementson.A private interment will be held by the family.
