Jamie A. Goblet, age 71, a resident of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She was born on July 1, 1953 in Chicago, IL to William and Anne Nickels.
Jamie is survived by her loving sons, John (Jennifer) Goblet, Jr. of Wheaton, IL, and Joe (Janet) Goblet of Elgin, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Isabella and Mitchell Goblet; her dear siblings, Dennis Nickels, Judy (Robert) Johnson, Paul Nickels, and Annie Nickels; and "a shit load" of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Kathleen (Cecil) Wood, Timothy (Mary Ann), Patrick (Doreen) the late James. She is also survived by her dear friends: Katie & Patrick Linein, Karen (Steve) Zimmerman, Sharon Jelinek, Mike Lanka, Maxine & Randy Fletcher and Dominic & Evelyn DiBona.
Jamie lived her life, her way, everyday. She was a kind, sassy and unique woman who loved a good laugh. She loved to share a good story. Jamie was never one to mince her words and was fiercely independent until her final days... even then, she had something to say about it!
Those fortunate enough to have known Jamie would agree, the world has lost a beautiful soul, but the universe has gained an even brighter star. She will forever be missed. Jamie wanted everyone to remember... she'll see you on the flip side!!!!

Jamie was a kind, intelligent, foxy lady. She was a hard worker and took pride in whatever she did. She raised two wonderful sons - intelligent, successful, outgoing and handsome. I am thankful she is finally at peace and in a healthy state. She will be missed!!
