Jan Phipps Obituary
Jan was born in Kingsport, TN on January 24, 1965, and she attended My Father's House Church in Surgoinsville. She lived in Johnson City and owned a beauty shop for many years until she retired and spent the remainder of her years in Church Hill with her family.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Harley Maria; sisters, Suzanne Jessee, and Audrey Jessee; brothers, Danny Jessee, and David Jessee.
Jan is survived by her loving husband, Quentin Phipps; mother, Marie (Liford) Ray, father, Vallis Jessee (Teresa); special nephew, Daniel Jessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Goshen Valley Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill is honored to serve the Phipps family.
