Jan D. Wiley

FORT WORTH - Jan Davis Wiley, 73, a wife, mom, grandmom, sister and friend, passed away in her home on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Jan was raised on the East Side of Fort Worth and graduated from Eastern Hills High School. She worked many years for her mother at Beck Industries and was appointed president upon her mother's retirement. Jan retired from that position in 2002.
Jan had a warm smile, sparkling eyes and an infectious laugh. She loved horses, family cookouts, gathering during the holidays, and having as much family around her and Grandad as she could.
Jan enjoyed camping, hiking and Jeeping the San Juans in Colorado. She spent her free time golfing, fishing, riding her bike and working in the yard... most of all she loved being grandmom.
She was a wonderfully devoted grandmom to 12 grandchildren, Hayden, Ethan, Emma, Wyatt, Maverick, Carly, Kennedy, Blaire, Preston, Kane, Sophie, and Layla Jan; and great-grandmom, to Quinn.
Jan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry L. Wiley in 2023; her mother, Betty Atchison-Beck; her father, David H. Davis; and her sisters, Deborah, Linda and Kathy.
She is survived by her children, Jack F. Wilson III and Casey, Terry W. Wiley and Carley, Clifford R. Wiley and Trina, Kristi L. Wiley, and MeLissa Baker; sisters, Donna Ball, Joan Guance, and Cheryl Michael; brother-in-law, Wendell W. Wiley and Beverly; and beloved niece and nephews.
To honor Jan's wishes, there will be no public service but a private ceremony in Groesbeck, Texas to spread her ashes.
