Steven Donnell Willis, 66, of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 16, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Sara Ellis Willis and J.B. Willis Jr., Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Ronda Willis; children, Brandon, Brooke, and Brittnee (husband Tommy Santos); and grandchildren, Jeremy, Dakota, Lyric, Diesel, and Denver. He also leaves behind his siblings, Suzanne Cook (Bart), Shari Turner (Steve), Gary Willis (James) and many in-laws, nieces and nephews who shared in the many adventures of his life. After graduating from Eastern Hills High School, Steve attended Texas Tech University and had a successful career as the owner of Triple B Trucking and Manager of Operations at Media Ranch. Steve's generous heart and loving nature made him a beacon of support for his family and friends. His kindness knew no bounds, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear to those in need. An avid musician, Steve expressed his soul through his guitar, sharing his love for music with everyone around him. He found deep peace in nature, drawing strength from the outdoors and its calming beauty. Steve's legacy is one of love, generosity, and a deep connection to both his family and the world around him. While he will be greatly missed, his spirit lives on in the memories he created, the music he shared, and the love he gave. His presence will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched, and his influence will continue to inspire all who knew him. A service to honor Steve's life will be held on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Covington Cemetery, Covington, Texas 76636. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/39cad642 or the American Cancer Society.
