Funeral services for Jana Smith Holman will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Grayson, La with Bro. Shane Duke officiating and interment following at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday at Crossroads Baptist Church from 1:30 PM until time of service at 3:00.

Jana Smith Holman was born July 1, 1990 in Monroe, La to the union of her parents, Lester Smith and Pamela Smith and passed from this life September 17, 2025.

Jana was always the life of the party. She was funny, loud, never still, and fast with funny remarks. Jana was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt Cookie, and friend. She was outgoing, stubborn, and adventurous. Jana enjoyed riding backroads and listening to good music, boat rides and just being on the go. Jana loved her kids and family more than anything. She also liked cooking and flowers. She would plant flowers and say, "ok, moma try to keep them alive!" There was never a dull moment when Jana was around and she will be missed tremendously.

Jana was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Larry & Betty Allbritton; maternal grandparents, Victor & Janice Smith; and her uncle, Tyler "T" Smith. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Lester & Pamela Smith; son, River James Holman; daughter, Railyn Brooke Holman; sister, Jada Matlock (James); her favorite cousins: Laryn Navarro, Lyndsey Navarro, and Ashley Smith; as well as a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Chad Navarro, Rusty Nicholson, Jeremy Johnson, Chris Norsworthy, Bubba Wilson, and John Rieger.
